Directions to Three Rivers (Revisited)

The drive from LA to Three Rivers takes about 3.5 hours and you travel through some areas of questionable radio quality, so bring a book on tape or some music CDs too. Below are directions from LA to Three Rivers. They are also included with the invitations:

Take the I-405 North
(If you are flying into LAX, directions from rental car agencies to the 405 vary, so be sure to ask).
The I-405 becomes the I-5 after 27 miles.
Continue on the I-5 North for about 61 miles.
At that point, stay left to merge onto CA Highway 99 North.
Continue on CA 99 North for about 27 miles.
After Bakersfield, exit onto CA Highway 65 North (Towards Porterville/Sequoia Park) for about 50 miles.
At Lindsay, CA 65 makes a soft left and you’ll be driving west for about ¼ mile.
At the first stop light, make a right, onto Spruce Road.
Continue on Spruce Road for about 8 miles.
Turn right onto CA Highway 198.
Continue on CA 198 for about 18 miles.
Turn Right onto Old Three Rivers Road. It is the first right after the giant red steer and the bridge. Stay to the right.
Go ½ mile make right onto South Fork Drive.
Continue on South Fork Drive for about 4.7 miles.
Farm is on the left at the fork in the road.

We’ll put signs up in Three Rivers to guide you to the farm. The number for the house is with the invitation, or feel free to email us for it, but please note that there is little or no cell phone reception once you turn onto CA 198 and none at all at the farm.

Additionally, Google Maps provides pretty good (though slightly different) directions Click here for those.
