Attire

In the post on weather, I mentioned that you should bring some light, loose clothing appropriate for the warm weather and outdoor activities we have planned. As for the ceremony itself, which will take place on Saturday evening, we were thinking less than formal, but not quite informal, a little dressier than casual. We understand that people from the East and West coasts will have different ideas about what this means. Suits and evening gowns are unnecessary, but wear something nicer than jeans and a t-shirt.

In response to Michelle: Women should probably avoid heels. Most of the ground around the farm where the festivities will take place is dirt, some hard-packed, some soft. The deck, which will double as the dance floor, is a hard wood surface. PB's mom recommends wedge shoes as appropriate for outdoor/garden weddings (she's been doing research).

hahaha... this is really narrowed down here... I promise no fancy "east coast" BLACK dresses... it just wouldn't fit in to such a lovely, rustic, California wedding!!!

Well, if the east coast can leave the black dress at home, I guess I can forgo the flip flops! haha Seriously, any shoe suggestions we should know about?

White sports coat, tangerine shirt with monochromatic tie, perfect hair, lineless eyes, slim waist. You guys in tiaras are going to be so envious. The tie comes off after the first drink, by the way.
